    Striking exterior Like all vehicles in the Niro lineup, the new Niro Electric comes with a refined design that will have heads turning no matter where you’re travelling. The modern front end features dual chevron-shaped LED daytime running lights, while the sweeping body lines add to the aerodynamic performance of the model. There’s even a number of subtle EV branding touches, with blue flourishes and badging included.
    Modern design The front end of the new Kia Niro Electric is smart and contemporary and features a body coloured covering where the standard grille would sit. After all, this is an electric vehicle so there’s no need for excessive cooling of a combustion engine.
    Alloy wheels The alloy wheel options of the Kia Niro Electric include the stunning 17-inch models which are paired with Michelin Primacy 3 tyres. These energy efficient tyres work to help optimise performance and ensure you secure the greatest range possible.
    Aerodynamic For the ultimate in efficient performance, the Niro Electric has been developed to include a drag-reducing rear spoiler to improve aerodynamics and ensure the range of the model is maximised at all times.
    Comfortable interior With room for the whole family, luggage and the family pet, there’s more than enough versatility to be found throughout this impressive new model. It’s also smart and sophisticated, with plush upholstery and an ergonomic arrangement ensuring you will be in complete control at all times.     10.25-inch touchscreen At the heart of the dashboard is the engaging and intuitive 10.25-inch colour touchscreen that connects seamlessly to your smartphone. You can then control selected apps, stream media, and make and receive calls effortlessly.

    Performance and engines Of course, this being an all-electric SUV, performance is key. And you won’t be disappointed. The fully electric engine provides an impressive 150kW of power combined with 395Nm of torque, and has a maximum range of 455km on a full charge. What’s more, the near silent running of the vehicle helps enrich the experience.
    Single pedal driving A steering wheel-mounted paddle can be held when coasting in order to decelerate the vehicle, steadily bringing the vehicle to a complete standstill with a minimum of effort.
    Drive mode select Getting the most out of the battery charge in the Niro Electric is key, so being able to choose the ideal driving mode will see the responsiveness of the model adapt accordingly, with Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport the four options available.
    Charging The Niro Electric uses a Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) charging plug for AC charging and a CCS Type 2 plug for DC fast charging at public stations. Such a solution enables the battery to reach 80% charge in as little as 54 minutes.
